Kelsey Bywater, Family Nurse Practitioner, has several years of experience as a nurse practitioner working in Family Practice. Prior to that, she worked for 18 years as registered nurse in home care, the ER, and pediatrics. She graduated with her doctorate degree from the University of Utah in May 2017. As part of her scholarly project in school, Kelsey developed a program to teach providers to screen for domestic violence in primary care. She has been part of the Box Elder County Domestic Violence Coalition as well as the Northern Utah Suicide Prevention Coalition. Kelsey was the past director of Box Elder SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners), which provides forensic exams for victims of sexual assault. Her current interests are women’s health, nutrition education, and primary care prevention.
Kelsey enjoys gardening, quilting, sewing, camping, and spending time with her family. Kelsey is accepting new patients of all ages.
